Charlotte is one of the country’s most promising Event Riders. Now based in Oxfordshire, Charlotte has represented Great Britain on both Junior and Young Rider teams, winning team gold and finishing fourth individually at Blair Castle in 2007. In recognition of her success at the likes of Badminton and Chatsworth, she was accepted onto the World Class Development Programme in 2008. Finishing 9th at Blenheim in 2011 and 5th at Luhmuhlen CCI**** in 2012 with the homebred Out of Africa, we are looking forward to working alongside Charlotte who’s eyes are firmly set on the 2016 Olympics.

Charlotte uses the Verbindend Loose Ring on one of her current horses, Longwood. “Heather suggested I try the Verbindend loose ring snaffle on Longwood, as he has quite a large tongue and therefore can be tricky in the contact. After using this bit just a couple of times he began to relax in his mouth, which then translated to the rest of his body, making the whole picture softer and enabling him to come through much better. If he can improve this much in a week, who knows where we’ll be next year!”
