Showjumping Katie is a young show jumped who competes on the British Show Jumping circuit. She started riding when she was 5. She’s an active member of the pony club and competes in the Home Pony International shows, along with all premier shows.

Katie Waldock-Smith secured 8th place in the Discovery National Final at the 2012 British Show Jumping Scope Festival with her pony Saffron. She also competed in the 138cm class on another pony, Magic, the combination were 2nd in the prelimary round, making it through to the top 20 final but unfortunately missed out on a placing. The show jumper unfortunately fractured her collar bone in 2013, meaning she had to miss the Pony of the Year show. Fortunately she was given the all clear for the Blue Chip festival that was held over the weekend and she came ninth with her pony Ross Cottage in the HorseQuest UK Sapphire Championship. Katie was at Bury Farm for the Spring Festival show. She finished second in the Adventurer class with Summer and had one unlucky pole down in the first round on Saffron. In the members cup Katie had a fantastic class and finished first on Summer and second on Saffron! She was also competing at Pyecombe in the adventurer qualifiers. She finished 3rd with her pony Saffron and has qualified for the Scope Festival of Show Jumping being held later this year.

“Luke, Katie and I would like to thank the team at Neue Schule for your continued support.  Your bits are the key to success!  Without the right control it’s so easy to come unstuck around a technical course of fences. Our ponies comfort is just as important to us.

So thank you again!”
