Nicki Gilbert competes worldwide in Endurance. With a string of Arabs, many of whom she bred herself at the Akala Arabian Stud, Nicki is fast becoming a well known Endurance GB rider, she and Bonita had a very successful ride at the 3* at Fontainebleau in France, coming home 28th out of 90 everything went to plan with them finishing at 15.9 km per hour over the 160kms! This fantastic result has given Nicki a World Equestrian Games 2014 qualification and means they are now ranked 10th in the World!

Nicki has horses based at her Arabian Stud in Norfolk as well as horses in America to allow her to compete in Argentina and the iconic American long distance ride the Tevis Cup. At the 2012 Home International Endurance Cup Nicki and LM Funny Girl won the 120km class which helped the team to victory.
Not only do Nicki’s Arabs compete at Endurance but they also enjoy a spot of Arab racing.
