NS Ambassador Results from Badminton Horse Trials 2015

Whilst the Bitting team were busy on the Neue Schule Stand NS Ambassadors Mark Todd, Nicola Wilson, Charlotte Agnew, Michael Ryan and Andrew Heffernan took on the amazing Badminton Horse Trials and had great results.  Full results are shown below but Mark was the best of the Ambassadors coming in 4th with LeonidasII, Nicola Wilson had a great result with both rides inside the top 20, Beltane Queen 19th (pulling up from 40th after Dressage)and One Two Many 7th with one of the few clear rounds SJ,  Ireland’s Michael Ryan and Ballylynch Adventure we in 9th place with a clean slate in the final phase.  Andrew Heffernan unfortunately had to retire Millthyme Corrola on the Cross Country after producing a personal best dressage score – 49.1 at 4* is pretty good! But he was “utterly delighted with Boleybawn Ace” who at only 10 produced a double clear at his first Badminton, we will be seeing much more of him in the future.

Charlotte Agnew with her wonderful home bred and produced Out Of Africa Two, with just one pole to add they finished in 26th place and received the Cotswold Life Trophy for the highest placed local rider.

Dan Naprous and his driving team were out doing their version of eventing at Catton Hall Driving Trails lieing 3rd after Marathon!

Team riders were out and about too, Susi Hirsch was busy with 5 horses riding 8 tests at Kilguilkey House competing in the South Munster Dressage show, with a placing in all 8 tests Susi had a great weekend, despite the rain and wind. Teddy won the PSG on 67%. Winston won the Advanced Medium on 68% and got a brilliant score of 70% in the Advanced. May is only 5 and did her first Elementary, she placed second. Storm managed to ignore the XC fences to give the best canter work yet and was placed fourth and fifth in her class.

Charlotte Dennis won the Intermediate at Richmond with DHI Hot Chip

Charlotte Dennis had planned a very busy weekend at Richmond Horse Trials, with 12 to ride over the three days.  Friday saw 5 rides with DHI Hot Chip winning his Intermediate section with a fantastic double clear.

Unfortunately in true British style rain stopped play after that.
