Michel Assouline


Michel is a graduate of the French National Equestrian School and has gained a large international experience in USA, France and Germany as an international rider and trainer.

In 1988 Michel was long listed to represent France at the Seoul Olympics. He has had several international successes with his Grand Prix mare Annastasia; they were consistently placed internationally in 2000. In the UK they won the Ardingly Premier League Grand Prix, the Etal Manor Premier League Grand Prix, the Royds Hall Premier League Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle at the Saumur *** CDI. They won the French National Championship in October 2000, finishing on a final score of 75.80%. In 2011 Michel won the Sheepgate Premier League Grand Prix on Luderitz, and was also the 2011 Hickstead CDI Medium Masters Champion with Dolcino. Dolcino also won the Hickstead semi-final open Advanced Medium at Wix EC with Michel in 2012. In 2005 Michel became the UK Para-equestrian dressage team coach and has taken the GB team riders to win gold at the 2005 European Championships, the 2007 world championships, the 2008 Beijing Paralympics, the 2009 European Championships, the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games, the 2011 Moorsele FEI Europeans and the 2012 London Paralympic Games!
