NS Ambassador Nicola Wilson and One Two Many named on the long list for Rio Nicola Wilson One Two Many

Nicola Wilson with Gerry and Mary Kemp and Janine Shewan’s One Two Many are one of the eventing combinations named on the long list for the Rio Olympic Games.

Nicola and One Two Many have consolidated their form at CIC*** level this season with a 9th placing in the CICO*** at Fontainbleu in March, before putting in a sterling performance to win the CICO*** at Houghton International Horse Trials in May, which they then followed up with a very creditable 6th place at the Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials, where they were one of the very few combinations to jump clear inside the time over a very tough Ian Stark built cross-country course, which they followed up with a fantastic clear round in the show jumping, therefore finishing on their dressage mark.

“It is a great honour to be long-listed for the Rio Olympic Games and I am thrilled for the owners of One Two Many, my sponsors and my hard-working team at home, says Nicola, now it is up to me to continue to work as hard as I can to show the selectors that we are worthy of being part of Team GB”.

Athletes selected to compete for Team GB in Dressage, Eventing and Jumping will be announced 5 July 2016.
