It was a very busy weekend for our Ambassadors and Team Riders, successes and rosettes all over the place!
Tom Jackson and Newmarket Prospect won at Hambeldon in the BE100 staying on their dressage score of 28, his second ride Fizz kept up the faultless theme with another double clear!
Charlotte Dennis had a very bust day at Northallerton with 5 horses in the BE100, all completed well with Supreme Couture coming 5th and Gorsehill Ziggy going one better with 4th.
Alice Goring had a great time with her baby Jasper – only adding a few time faults (they clearly don’t count) to get a lovely double clear in his first ever event! It didn’t quite go to plan with The Little Frenchman at Hambleden in the Intermediate, after a very respectable dressage and a fantastic clear show jumping he flew the XC a little too enthusiastically and gave Alice a Thellwell moment over the owl hole jumping her clean out the saddle! However Alice is using this to her advantage and is planning a lot of schooling over drops to learn from each outing!
Katie Waldock- Smith and Summer were on winning form again winning and qualifying 148cm restricted 1.20 open to try to retain their title.
Susie Hirsch, had a great weekend with Storm, who is more used to the hunting field has worked out what a dressage arena is, coming 2nd with 65%, Winston went HC as this was his first test for over a year- he clearly has a lovely time and would have won the Advance Medium with 64%.
Victoria Leavesley had a great time out with Pride, who took on a very twisty course in his stride; these two are turning out to be a great combination Jenny Burbury was out at Northallerton BE supporting her pupil Michael to get a lovely dressage test and fantastic double clear to go into 11th place .
Rebecca Haryett and Bjornsun had a great weekend coming 2nd in their first ever A102 with a fantastic 67.06%! watch the video to see their brilliant canter changes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VP4Mds8X4Nk
Sir Mark Todd was busy all weekend, NZB Ocean at Hambleden on Saturday won the Intermediate section R and on Sunday Back to Business II claimed the top spot at Bicton Intermediate section F, with Landslide coming 2nd in his first Advanced Intermediate.
Nicola Wilson had a great time out in America for the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event with Annie Clover pulling out a double clear (XC time faults don’t count!) finishing in 8th place and Watermill Vision was 26th
Charlotte Agnew didn’t have a fantastic weekend but did have great fun with Caylinn who was showing off his fantastic jump
