Nicola Wilson is one of the UK’s most successful female event riders. She is well known throughout the sport and so is her top horse, the black gelding, Opposition Buzz, with whom she won an Olympic team silver medal for Great Britain. Based in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, Nicola was ‘horse mad’ as a child, a passion which never left her side and made her the Olympic star she is today.
Following on from her Olympic success, Nicola has finished the 2013 season with top 10 placings at Osberton and Military Bokelo International Three-day Events. Nicola says ‘I have had a fabulous season with all my horses, they have shown consistency at the level at which they are competing at, which makes it exciting for the futureand besides my family, I would like to thank my owners, sponsors and supporters for their continued support. All the horses will now have a winter break before I start preparing for them for next season and that includes Opposition Buzz”.
