End of an Era

Dressage at Hickstead announces they will no longer be running

Last week we received the sad news that after 27 wonderful years Dressage at Hickstead will no longer be running.

We have been exhibiting at Dressage at Hickstead since the very beginning and it is hard to believe it has been 27 years! For us, it has always been the highlight of the season as it was a chance to meet with rider’s face to face and see the horses in action.

We have made so many fond memories on the showground over the years and it has been part of Neue Schule’s journey from the beginning. Company founder Heather Hyde recalls exhibiting at her very first dressage at Hickstead with little more than a tarpaulin and a box of bits and reminisces on the tremendous atmosphere that was always at the heart of the show bringing the equine community together.

We would like to extend a great big thank you to all those involved with Dressage at Hickstead with particular thanks to Dane Rawlins.

This truly does mark the end of a wonderful era.
