Taggy Forester Bennett – Bouncing Back!

8th October 2020

Possibly my personal highlight of the season (so far) as my own and Future Sports Horses “Future Gravite” made her comeback to intermediate level after her fall in the water at Bicton In July. After her fall, we did not think she’d event again this season, but Lara isn’t the type to be sick or sorry and bounced back like it never happened. We are now back on track to compete in Bicton’s CCI3* at the end of the season.

I am incredibly impressed by how she handled the heavy rain and wet ground conditions at Dauntsey going last in a very influential cross-country phase. By the look on her face in all the photos she had a great time out on course!

As well as being grateful that Lara is a tough mare who loves her job (and finds it very easy- credit to her breeder) I am very grateful to have a top team working around us here to ensure she made a good recovery from her injury in July and continues to perform at the top of her game.
