Question
Hi, I have a 6 year old 18hh Bay Clydesdale Gelding who I have owned for 3 years. We take part in dressage and showing. For showing he is currently in a Pelham with a port, he is a little resistant and does not take the poll forward so well. I am looking to improve his way of going and achieve a softer, rounder outline without losing any length in the neck. I would much prefer to be in doubles, I was delighted to discover that you had many designs in my extra large size of 6 ¼” in a fixed cheek and 6 ½” in a loose ring.
Suggestion
One of our most successful combinations in order to achieve the way of going you are working towards would be the Aachen Weymouth with a 7cm cheek, in conjunction with the Team Upbridoon. The Aachen is brilliant for those horses that tend to shorten up in the neck and coupled with the Team Up this is a very mild set of doubles designed to promote a soft consistent contact and is also available in the extra large size you require.
