If the FEI young rider’s championship held at Maarsbergen (Netherlands) has proved one thing it is that the future of British Eventing is bright as they bring home Team Gold.
The competition was tight with France sitting on top going into the showjumping. However, an unfortunate three poles down for French leader Morganne Euriat meant Team GBR clinched the gold!
Team GBR was made up; Phoebe Locke (Union Forturus), Felicity Collins (RSH Contend), Richard Coney (Kananaskis) and Neue Schule sponsored rider Bubby Upton (Cola) who also achieved individual team Silver.
Neue Schule have supported Bubby as she has climbed up through the pony ranks making her mark on the Eventing Circuit. Neue Schule’s company founder Heather Hyde wrote “We are so proud of Bubby; she is an incredible talent and we are excited to continue supporting her throughout her exciting career”.
Bubby said, “I am so happy for everyone involved because it is a team effort and we’ve all been fantastic. Cola exceeded all my expectations and I am so proud of him. His showjumping has come on leaps and bounds this year and I would like to thank my amazing trainers Tina Fletcher and John Ledingham”.
Bringing home Team Gold and Individual Silver is a “dream come true” for Bubby. We are so proud of her and the rest of team GBR.
